| | | Program Overview: | The major goal of the Graduate School of Managementfs MBA is to educate participants in general management concepts and skills and their application and hence to enable them to manage more effectively and responsibly. Specific graduate outcomes include:
- an ability to plan and manage successfully in an increasingly complex and turbulent national and international environment, but within the framework of societal values;
a high level of analytical, problem solving and communication skills; and a creative, innovative and ethical approach in seeking
The Graduate School of Management has taken an innovative approach to the structure of its graduate program whereby students without a prior undergraduate degree can articulate into the Master of Business Administration (MBA) through the Graduate Certificate of Management (GCM) and the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (GDBA). GCM participants must complete a total of four (4) units. GDBA participants must complete a total of eight (8) units, made up of the four (4) GCM units plus an additional four. MBA participants must complete a total of twelve (12) units made up of the four (4) GCM units, the four (4) GDBA units, plus four (4) additional units including the core unit, Strategic Management. | | Study Mode: | | | Fees: | N/A | | Total Units: | 9 Core, 3 Elective | | Assessment Method: | Variety of assessment methods including assignments and examinations | | Entry Requirements: | The Faculty of Commerce may accept as a candidate for the Master of Business Administration any of the following:
(i) A person who:
(a) has completed an undergraduate degree of an Australian higher education institution or the equivalent standard in any other institution,
and
(b) has had at least two yearsf appropriate work experience;
