| Credit Past Study: | Students seeking advanced standing into the MBA (and associated programs) may be granted this advanced standing only if the course units for which they seek credit have been completed in the past five years from an accredited business school or university (e.g. AACSB and/or EFMD and/or AMBA). For MBA courses credit may also be granted at the discretion of the MBA Director if the business school or university is highly ranked by an international publication or agency, or where there is a pre-existing exchange/cross-institutional agreement, or where the applicant is considered to be in the top third of his/her class cohort or has a GPA of 5.75 or more on a 7-point scale.
Units undertaken at other institutions or organisations, subsequently credited as advance standing in the MBA programs, do not count toward specialisations (majors, concentrations or minors) unless they are specified exemptions for core/required units or approved electives within a specialisation. It is not necessary to complete a core/required unit within a specialisation if a substitution is granted for that unit, but that an approved elective be taken from within the specialisation in its place. |
